T.Wesley Snead grew up in a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, somewhere along the Eastern edge of America’s blue collar Rust Belt. When not rummaging aimlessly through the fridge, he draws pictures of a world remarkably just as crappy, lonely and sad as ours. That the characters he represents have animal heads should speak more against the artist’s ability to draw human faces than towards any political or metaphysical ideology and should therefore be of no practical consequence.
