Bridget Riley

Bridget Riley, born in 1931, is a distinguished British artist who is a leading figure in the Op Art movement. Known for her dynamic, often disorienting, geometric patterns that create illusions of movement, her work explores the nature of optical perception. Her most recognized piece, "Movement in Squares," is a mesmerizing exploration of optical movement using only black and white. Now in her nineties, Riley continues to produce and exhibit new work, proving the enduring fascination with optical and perceptual phenomena.
